Design Speaking Characters
Each SitePal package is bundled with a different number of base models. By using SitePal's online editor, you can easily create your own animated speaking characters by molding one of the base models through changing its attributes such as hair style, skin color, clothes and even age!

Voice Recording by Phone or Microphone
SitePal provides you with 5 different ways to add your own audio message to a SitePal character including the following two easy methods.

• Recording by microphone - You can use any inexpensive (or built-in) microphone to record messages up to 60 seconds long directly into the SitePal environment.
• Recording by telephone - You can use any telephone (cell or analog) to record messages up to 60 seconds long directly into the SitePal environment from anywhere in the world. This feature is particularly useful if you need to change a given message and don't have easy access to a computer.

SitePal allows you to easily add your speaking character to any web page using its powerful publishing capabilities. Absolutely no programming is required. Simply cut and paste some code, insert it into your page and voila - you've added SitePal to your website!

Publish to emails
With SitePal’s email publishing feature, you can easily create and send an HTML or text-based email with the speaking avatar you created. Using the wizard, you can easily upload your lead list from major email platforms, choose and /or edit the HTML or text template. A thumbnail linking to your speaking character will be pre-populated in the email template.

Integrate with PowerPoint
Users can integrate their scenes into PowerPoint presentations using SitePal's PowerPoint Plugin. Once the plugin is downloaded and installed, users can access their SitePal account directly through the PowerPoint application by choosing "SitePal Wizard" under "tool". "Embed in Flash" functionality, included in the Gold package, can also be used to integrate SitePal into PowerPoint presentations.

Text-to-Speech
With SitePal's Text-to-Speech (TTS) functionality, you can make your SitePal characters speak any written text in a natural sounding voice. Simply type in a script in the text box or upload it as a file and your SitePal character will speak it in real time!

Choose from over 60 different voice "personalities" in any of the following languages: Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish.

Lead Generator
The Lead Generator Skin allows your SitePal speaking character to collect contact information from your potential customers such as phone numbers or email addresses. It even emails the collected information back to you in real time! Absolutely no programming knowledge is needed.

FAQ Solution
The FAQ skin allows you to use your SitePal character to answer FAQs from your website visitors. Simply input your questions and set the corresponding audio answers by using Text-to-Speech or Record-by-phone feature.

Removal of SitePal branding
In Bronze and Silver packages, every SitePal scene displays a small SitePal watermark. With the SitePal Gold Package you can remove the SitePal branding from all your SitePal scenes.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Chat
SitePal's AI Knowledge has more than 40,000 different topics, which you can further customize for your own need. This technology lets your users look for answers in a much more intuitive and enjoyable way by having a two way communication with your SitePal virtual character.

Audio Streams
An audio stream is a single audio playback instance. Whenever your SitePal character speaks, the audio is transmitted and played by Oddcast's server over the internet. This counts as 1 audio stream. Simply put, audio streams are the number of times your SitePal character can speak.

(For example, if you a have a SitePal character on a web page that receives 10,000 page-views and didn't apply any playback limit, you should expect to use 10,000 audio streams. Similarly, if a visitor replayed an audio message for five times at once, then five audio streams have been used.)

Each SitePal account package is bundled with a different number of audio streams to allow you to choose a package that can serve your website in the most economical way. To prevent your audio streams from being wasted by , you can set a playback limit. Also, unused audio streams are rolled over into the following months without being wasted.

SitePal Scenes
A scene in SitePal is a combination of an animated character, an audio message, and a background. Each SitePal package is bundled with a different number of scenes. For example, if your particular package comes with five scenes, you can display up to five unique sets of characters, audio messages and backgrounds on your web site.
